Filmmaker Paul and his girlfriend, rock legend Marianne, actually want to spend a quiet, relaxing vacation on the Italian island of Pantelleria. However, their idyllic holiday is disrupted by the unexpected arrival of Marianne's ex, music producer Harry, with his adult daughter Penelope.
